About Mayu and the Lineage2Universe.Com Website
Welcome to my website!
Hey there, my name’s Hristo Itchov and I’m a huge fan of NCSoft’s MMORPG Lineage 2. I’ve been playing it for nearly 3 years now, both on retail and private servers. While I’ve learned and experienced a lot during that time, I’ve come to realize how deep the game is and how there’s always something new to explore in it.
I’ve always liked helping other players with advices derived from my experience and knowledge, so this is why I’ve created this website to serve as a place where anyone can find answers to their questions. Of course, there are a lot of things I’m yet to learn and experience, especially when it comes to playing different classes, but I’m always willing to help anyone who is struggling with something in particular.
There are a few classes I’ve played more seriously – Fortune Seeker, Dreadnought, Grand Khavatari, Duelist and Shillien Templar, but I’m always exploring other classes and building upon my skills. With the help of other experienced Lineage 2 players, some of who are also my best friends, I’m willing to help you with any questions you may have and write more guides on different Lineage 2 topics that concern you.
Mayu’s origins
No, I’m not going to talk about my birthplace or childhood (yet!). I just thought you may be wondering where the nickname “Mayu” comes from. Well, that’s the name of my first ever L2 character – my Fortune Seeker called Mayu. 🙂 In fact I had two Mayus by accident, but one had to be renamed eventually because of problems. In the meantime people started calling me Mayu and so I’ve chosen to use it as a nickname here on my site as well.
It’s all about attitude
One thing that I’ve always been a strong supporter in the game is mutual respect and I’ve always been against the flaming, bad attitude and tendency for cheating/bug abuse coming from many players in the community. I know that it’s just the nature of the game that attracts such attitude and personalities, but my values in life confront all that and I firmly believe it’s possible to have a better playing environment.
My aim is to have respectful relationship with players and avoid bad language if possible, but at the same time keep everything honest and transparent, even if it means receiving negative comments. In fact, that can only help improve the quality of my guides and articles, so don’t hesitate on it when you give me feedback.
Good luck in your game!
